Dear Capt. Nick, Sanger High School Class of 1992 here. I was “Liz Clark” back in my days at SHS. The smart-mouthed XO of our NJROTC unit my senior year. Don’t know if you remember me, but I sure remember you! I am now an attorney and a partner in a law firm in Fresno. One of my new colleagues at the firm served in the Navy. We were chatting about his service over lunch and it got me thinking about you and my treasured time in the NJROTC at SHS. A chance google search of your name found this website for me. (Thank you Google. ) I look forward to reading it over. I hope that all is well with you and your family. I wanted to check in and say hello. With Respect and Admiration, Elizabeth “Liz” Steinhauer-Clark
I was part of your NJROTC here is sanger in the 90s. Hey there Capt! It is such a blessing to hear from you after all these years. I, at times, wondered how things were with you and your family. I will never forget you, back in my school days, you were a tremendous inspiration in my life, and what I would call a hero. You gave me the courage to keep going even when my days were tough. To this day the words ” Press On” still get me through the tough times and challenges of life when they do happen. Those memories at NJROTC changed my life. They were the best of my life in school, and set the foundation to be the person I am today.
