C.O. to C.O. 1974

I was on the bridge of USS Kawishiwi tied to the pier in Pearl Harbor when the USS Preble docked astern of us.  It was an extremely professional operation conducted by a very professional crew.

I took the liberty to fire a message off to the ship and her boss expressing my pride in what I had just observed.

The letter from the Commanding Officer says it all, and was greatly appreciated by me.
